Sunday School Classes

I. Adult Peer Classes are an opportunity to gather with others who are similar in age  except the one below the line with an *, and they meet from 9:30 – 10:30 am:

  • College-age & Young Adults – Rm 112). Lead by Dan & Debbie Fox
    • Join us for an opportunity to connect, study Scripture, and pray.
    • Topic: “The Story.”
    • Bring money for lunch afterward.
  • Mathetos – Room 116 (25+). Teacher, Pastor Steve Shangraw.
  • Common Bond – Room 206 (45+). Teacher, Leon Brooks.
  • His Friends – Room 218 (50+). Teacher, Don Martin.
    •  Starting March 2017, this class will host “I am n” curriculum (see below at bottom).*
  • King’s Heirs – Room 119 (60+). Teacher, Rick Salyer.
  • Chi Alpha – Room 120 (70+). Teachers Merlin Evans & Bruno Ekk.
  • Spanish Class – Room 105 (mixed ages). Pastor, Nelson Aguillon.

II. Children & Youth Sunday School meet from 11 am – 12 noon.

  • Nursery (6 weeks – 24 months)
  • 2s – Room 111           
  • 3s – Room 109
  • 4s – Room 107   
  • K – Room 106
  • 1st/2nd grades – Room 212
  • 3rd/4th grades – Room 213
  • 5th grade – Room 201
  • 6th – 12th grades (Entrench) – Everyone meets first in Room 214. Then the Middlers (6th – 8th grades) go to Room 205.

III. Children’s Summer Sunday School for 2017 to be determined: Children going into 1st – 5th grades meet together in Room 201 (East side of Fellowship Hall).

  • This is a curriculum provided by Voice of the Martyrs.
  • Radical Muslims devastating Iraq and Syria used the Arabic letter ‘N’ to identify followers of Jesus the Nazarene.
  • “I am N’ reminds us that we are the brothers and sisters of those who are persecuted.
  • Hear their stores, learn from them, pray for them and deepen your faith in a god who gives us the courage to love even our persecutors.
